FONTANA HAS GROWN UP FAST
Fontana is one of those Inland Empire cities where the housing stock tells the whole history of southern California in one drive. Head down Sierra Avenue toward the south side and you're in Kaiser Steel-era tracts from the 50s and 60s, small footprints on flat lots, original copper supply, cast iron drains, garages that have already been converted twice. Head north up past the 210 into Coyote Canyon and the Etiwanda foothills, and the houses jump to 2000s and newer, three-car garages, PEX manifolds, tankless heaters, and floor plans double the size of what you saw ten minutes ago. Same city, two completely different plumbing eras.
Most of what we do in south Fontana is repair and repipe work on those mid-century tracts. Fifty-plus years of hard Fontana Water Company supply has thinned the copper down to where pinhole leaks are common, especially in the hot recirc loops. Cast iron drain lines under the slab are the other big one. They rot from the inside out and eventually start weeping into the crawl or the yard. We access through crawlspaces where we can and replace with ABS, which keeps the drywall damage to a minimum.
Up north, the calls flip. Those newer tracts are on PEX and don't leak much, but the tankless water heaters that came with them are a different story. Fontana water is hard, and a Rinnai or Navien that never gets flushed will start throwing error codes and going cold in the shower around year seven. Annual descaling and the occasional flow sensor swap keeps them running like new. If your tankless is acting up, service it before you replace it.
ADU plumbing has been a huge chunk of our work in Fontana over the last couple of years. Homeowners are converting garages, adding detached units in the back yard, and each one needs new supply, drain, and gas planned from scratch. We handle it from the plans through the final city inspection.
On the commercial side, Fontana runs on logistics. We do drain jetting, backflow testing, and grease trap service for warehouses, restaurants, and shops along Sierra, Foothill, and Valley. Give us a call and we'll match the right fix to your building, old or new.

01Do you repipe older south Fontana homes?
Do you repipe older south Fontana homes?
Yes. A lot of the pre-1970 tracts in south Fontana were built with copper supply lines that are now starting to pinhole, especially where the pipes are in the slab or the hot recirc loop. We repipe with PEX or copper, plan the drywall access ahead of time so patches are minimal, and get the water back on the same day whenever possible.
02How's the water in Fontana?
How's the water in Fontana?
Fontana Water Company serves most of the city and the hardness runs on the higher end. That means scale on shower doors, deposits in tankless heaters, and shorter life on tank water heater elements. A whole-house softener helps if you're going to be in the home a while, especially if you have a tankless.
03Can you service tankless heaters in north Fontana tracts?
Can you service tankless heaters in north Fontana tracts?
Yes. A lot of the 2000s and newer builds up in Coyote Canyon and Etiwanda came with Rinnai, Navien, or Noritz tankless units. Fontana's hard water eats these things without annual descaling. We do the flush, replace filters and flow sensors, and can quote a proper softener if you want to stop the problem at the source.
04Do you handle commercial plumbing along Sierra and Valley?
Do you handle commercial plumbing along Sierra and Valley?
Yes. We do commercial drain jetting, grease trap service, backflow testing, and water heater installs for warehouses, small offices, restaurants, and shops all along the Sierra, Foothill, and Valley Boulevard corridors. We schedule around your operating hours when possible.
05Do you do ADU plumbing in Fontana?
Do you do ADU plumbing in Fontana?
Yes, this has been a big part of our work in Fontana lately. Homeowners are converting garages or building detached ADUs, and each one needs new supply, drain, and gas runs planned right the first time. We handle the plumbing scope from the plans through the final inspection.
06Do you pull permits with the City of Fontana?
Do you pull permits with the City of Fontana?
For repipes, sewer replacements, water heaters that require them, gas line work, and ADU plumbing, yes. We file with Fontana Building and Safety and meet the inspector at the site.
