Why Choose Us
WORK THAT FITS A MENTONE HOME
Half our Mentone calls are on homes older than the freeway. We work on them the way they deserve.
Foothill bungalow know-how
1920s to 1950s bungalows along Mentone Blvd and Crafton have their own personality. Small crawlspaces, mixed retrofits, and pipes that were never on a plan.
Old citrus and pepper tree roots
Mentone was groves before it was homes. Root balls in clay laterals are a Tuesday afternoon around here. We camera, jet, and reline.
Hard water fixes that last
Mill Creek and East Valley water runs mineral-heavy. We size softeners right, swap corroded galvanized, and set tankless units up so they actually last.
Licensed & insured
LIC #1082797. A crew that takes off boots on the porch and cleans up before they leave.

MENTONE NEIGHBORS WE'VE HELPED
From the crew
A LITTLE FOOTHILL COMMUNITY WITH BIG PLUMBING QUIRKS
Mentone is one of those little Inland Empire pockets a lot of folks drive right through on the way up to Big Bear or Forest Falls without ever noticing. If you live here though, you know it's its own place. Unincorporated, tucked between Redlands and the mouth of Mill Creek Canyon, with a housing stock that runs from little 1920s foothill bungalows to 1970s ranch homes to newer builds up by Crafton Hills College. We work on all of them.
The thing about Mentone plumbing is that the community grew in fits and starts. There's no single tract-builder signature like you see in Loma Linda or parts of Yucaipa. One house on Mentone Boulevard might be a 1948 board-and-batten with original galvanized supply and a crawlspace you can barely fit a toolbox into. The next-door neighbor might have a 2005 stucco rebuild with PEX and a tankless. That means we can't roll up with a one-size-fits-all playbook. We look at the age, the water source, and what previous owners tried before we quote anything.
Water out here is hard. East Valley Water District and Yucaipa Valley Water District pull from local groundwater, and the mineral load shows up fast on fixtures, glassware, and the inside of water heaters. Softeners installed right will change how a shower feels and add years to a heater. We size them for actual household use, not the biggest number on the box.
The other Mentone-specific quirk is legacy trees. This community was citrus and pepper groves for decades, and even after the trees came out the root networks stayed in the soil, feeding on old clay sewer lateral joints. We pull roots out of Mentone sewer lines every week. When the pipe itself is beat, we camera and line from the cleanout to the county tap so your yard, driveway, and irrigation stay intact.
If you're a Mentone homeowner looking for plumbing services that actually know this community, from the older stretches near Wabash to the newer streets off Crafton, that's us. Call, walk us through what's going on, and we'll match the fix to your house instead of forcing your house into a template.

FAQ.
Common questions from Mentone homeowners. Don't see yours? Give us a call.
01Do you service unincorporated Mentone or only inside city limits?
Do you service unincorporated Mentone or only inside city limits?
Mentone is unincorporated San Bernardino County, so there aren't really city limits. We cover the whole community, from the Redlands border up past Crafton Hills College and out toward Mill Creek Ranger Station.
02Is Mentone water really that hard?
Is Mentone water really that hard?
Yes. East Valley Water District and Yucaipa Valley Water District both pull from groundwater in this stretch, and mineral levels run high. You'll see scale on fixtures fast. A properly sized softener pays for itself in fewer water heater failures and cleaner glassware.
03My house is on well water, can you still help?
My house is on well water, can you still help?
Absolutely. A handful of older Mentone properties, especially the ones on larger parcels east of Opal, still run on wells or well-plus-city hybrids. We work on pressure tanks, well pump plumbing, and filtration setups.
04Can you handle a septic-to-sewer conversion?
Can you handle a septic-to-sewer conversion?
Yes. As county sewer lines have extended into parts of Mentone, we've helped homeowners abandon old septic tanks properly and tie into the main. That includes permits with the county and coordinating the tank decommissioning.
05Do you do bathroom remodels on older Mentone homes?
Do you do bathroom remodels on older Mentone homes?
That's a lot of what we do out here. Adding a second bath to a 1940s two-bed bungalow, converting a garage into an ADU, or gutting a dated tile bathroom. We handle the plumbing scope from rough-in to final trim.
06How fast can you get out to a leak in Mentone?
How fast can you get out to a leak in Mentone?
If we have a truck near Redlands or Yucaipa, often within a couple hours. Mentone sits right between our busiest zones, so response time is usually strong. Late afternoon calls sometimes roll to first thing next morning.
